TO TARANGIRE, SERENGETI, NGORONGORO AND LAKE EYASI

Tanzania offers more than 120 tribes and you cannot leave this country without experience some of them. In this safari you will meet the Masai and the Hadzabe or bushman from Lake Eyasi, two of the most known and old tribes you can find in Tanzania.

Day 2: Maasai village visit – Lake Manyara

After an early breakfast start your approx. 2 hour drive towards Mto Wa Mbu, a small town close to Arusha. Spend the morning observing or taking part in the everyday life of the masais. This is a village that is not spoiled by hundreds of tourists visiting them for a staged show but the masai live their normal lives with daily routines.

Pick up your lunch boxes in Mto Wa Mbu and you will drive to Lake Manyara NP for game drives until early evening. Lunch in the park.

The loveliest I have seen in Africa” said the novelist Ernest Hemingway about Lake Manyara. It’s a small park with stunning and versatile scenery. The most famous habitants are the tree-climbing lions. Lake Manyara is also the home to the largest concentration of baboons anywhere in the world.

Before sunset exit the park and drive for your dinner and overnight stay.

Seronera Valley supports a much greater diversity of resident wildlife than anywhere else in the Serengeti. Resident prey attracts the highest concentration of large predators in Africa (lion, hyena, leopard and cheetah).

Early evening arrive for your dinner and overnight stay at

The Serengeti’s endless plains provide an exceptional landscape for wildlife viewing. You will be able to spot large herds of wildebeest, zebras and different kinds of antelopes. And where there are herbivores you’ll also find the predators. As the locals say: “Serengeti will never die”. In the early evening you will arrive for your dinner and overnight stay at

Day 7:  Ngorongoro Crater – Lake Eyasi

Get up early at 6 AM to descend into Ngorongoro Crater for a day of wildlife viewing. Early morning is the best time to glimpse big cats on the hunt. The Crater is an actual Noah’s ark and often referred as the eighth wonder of the world.  It has the highest density of animals in Africa. This is the park to see the Big5 in one day. The resident population of black rhino is a real treat, as rhinos are very difficult to spot elsewhere in Tanzania. It is also home to some very impressive elephant bulls with huge tusks. In the afternoon ascend the crater and drive to Lake Eyasi.

Dinner and overnight stay at Kisima Ngeda Tented Camp https://www.kisimangeda.com/.

Day 8: Lake Eyasi – Tarangire

Head out to go hunting at 5:30am with the Hadzabe Bushmen, one of the last hunter-gatherer tribes left in Africa. Thereafter tour the Blacksmiths who weld bangles and arrow heads, and visit the Datoga tribe, who are nomadic cattle herders. In the afternoon, you will drive towards Tarangire for your overnight stay at

Day 9: Lake Eyasi – Tarangire NP

Around 8:00 am, after breakfast at your accommodation you will drive to Tarangire National Park. Game drives and lunch in the park. Tarangire is known especially for its large herds of elephants roaming among the huge baobab trees. It has its own “mini-migration” as Tarangire River is an important source of drinking water during the dry season (Jun-Oct) and that makes it the perfect place to spot wildlife. Migratory animals come to put out their thirst and following them are the predators looking for a feast.

Before sunset exit the park and drive for your dinner and overnight stay at
