Day 1: Arrival

Day 2 : Arusha – Tarangire National Park

Around 8:30am, after breakfast at your accommodation our driver-guide will pick you up and you’ll start your approx. 2hr drive to Tarangire NP for game viewing. Tarangire is known especially for its large herds of elephants roaming among the huge baobab trees. It has its own “mini-migration” as Tarangire River is an important source of drinking water during the dry season and that makes it the perfect place to spot wildlife. Migratory animals come to put out their thirst and following them are the predators looking for a feast. Early evening exit the park and drive for your dinner and overnight stay at

  Day 3: Serengeti National Park

Day 4: Serengeti National Park – Ngorongoro

Sunrise game drive in Serengeti. Return to your accommodation for breakfast. After breakfast start your drive towards Ngorongoro Conservation area with picnic lunches. Game drives and lunch along the way. Dinner and overnight stay at

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater – Lake Natron

Around 6am, after breakfast, descend to the Ngorongoro Crater. We will spend the day exploring the Ngorongoro Crater which is a World Heritage Site, home to nearly 25,000 animals, giving you a very real chance of spotting the Big5 namely lion, elephant, endangered black rhino, buffalo and leopard plus countless other African mammal species. Witness the magnificent array of habitats, each with its own unique wildlife and flora.

Enjoy a picnic lunch at the hippo pool. Around 2 pm ascend the crater and start your drive to Lake Natron. Enjoy a sunset walk before your dinner and overnight stay at

Day 6: Lake Natron – Arusha

Wake up at dawn and walk to the southern shores of the lake in order to sigh the lesser flamingo flocks. A Maasai guide will lead the way across the mudflats. Although you will not be able to get very close to the flamingos who will keep moving further you can enjoy the beautiful lake scenery with the first pinkish daylight and the impressive view back over the active volcano Ol Doinyo Lengai. The walk will take from one to two hours and you will then return to the camp for breakfast. After breakfast walks around the lake and to the streams and waterfalls along the nearby escarpment. Have lunch and then start your drive back to Arusha for your overnight stay at

Day 7: Arusha- Zanzibar, Stone Town

After breakfast drive to Arusha Airport to take your mid-morning flight to Zanzibar. Once arriving in Zanzibar a car will be waiting for you at the airport and drive you for your overnight stay at Park Hyatt Zanzibar Hotel https://www.hyatt.com/es-ES/hotel/tanzania/park-hyatt-zanzibar/znzph in Stone Town.

 Day 8: Prison Island Tour – Kiwengwa

After breakfast around 9 am you will get picked up by your guide, who will take you for Prison Island (half day) tour.  Prison Island is one of the nearest islands from Stone Town, just 20 minutes by boat. It is also known as Changuu Island. There are many trees and plants on this island and it is a delight to walk safely and unhindered through the dappled shadows. Birds a bound and bird watchers will find plenty of species to delight them. Its original use was as a prison and later it was taken over to be used as quarantine station by the British Army.

Today prison Island is a pleasant destination for a day trip. It has some excellent coral formations just offshore providing a good opportunity for snorkeling. Another main attraction is the giant tortoises which are over 100 years old. These tortoises are only found on this island.

In the afternoon, after lunch, return to main island and drive to the beaches of Kiwengwa. Accommodation
